Heya Perry --

I highly approve of the redesign of Ragebomb -- most especially the color scheme, the greyscale post-Communist-looking apartment blocks, and the "I scrolled for this?" epithet.

Ragebomb continues to be somewhat of a guilty pleasure for me -- communiques from an unknown correspondent from a civilization in inexorable decline, an operative in that dull grey world, but not of it. Seven against Thebes.

webmaster,

please bring back the other ragebomb page. we like it way better than thisone.

Dear Mutant, et al.

Thank you for your continued interest in RageBomb. We have received your comments and have reviewed them. Following is a prepared response from our Council.

Perry Wang
Webmaster, RageBomb

Mustn't return. Mustn't return. Mustn't return. To return would be -- in Vasko Popa's words -- to let the dough of the stars go sour inside you. I am summoning invective. Yes, summon. Hmm. Can't return now. See, Mo told me "substance = (sub)(stance) = (under)(standing) = understanding", and he wouldn't joke about something like this. Plenty of words for little birdies to read, plenty of shininess to entrance tiny avian eyes, yes, and a tilde in there somewhere. I'll tell Stewart. He runs the electric company.

Ragebomb,

our response: that sucks!

read: don't placate us with your non-sensical, pseudo-psychological sustance understanding council mumbo jumbo! we're your biggest audience, and i'm afraid you know that to be true fact. the decaying structures embody character of their own. but their usage clearly does not represent the entity behind ragebomb. it is false representation at the least, and obvious wanna-be-ism in some more highly cerebral arena. and "urine" does not suit the quality nor whimsical natures of the content. bring back the joy that was once the nectar worth scrolling for!

in earnest,

I completely agree that the title was the only benefit of the Diet Ragebomb site over the present one -- in fact, the submast under the "RageBomb" title was often my favorite part of the site, and I would like to see you find some way of working it into the new site as well.

Reason being, the abdication of narrative is, to me, an important feature of Ragebomb. If I want traditional, driven narrative, anode works for me, but Ragebomb is the embodiment of anecdote, and I turn to it when I need to shift mental and spiritual gears, and the mechanism that most effectively accomplished that was the title. Often it was something random, something overheard that had no connection with the rest of the content, such as "Jonesin' for Subway," and the juxtaposition of randomness with anecdote invariably gave me the disconnect I was looking for.
